Doug is a strong supporter of the Pico Youth Center, a non-profit organization in Santa Monica, CA committed to preventing youth violence. Through various services and caring staff support, The Pico Youth Center brings hope into the lives of youth by case management, counseling, tutoring, job readiness training, leadership development, music, art and computer training. The Pico Youth Center is a positive alternative to the streets for many of Santa Monica's youth and young adults who seek guidance, support and service.
Doug also believes in supporting various other charities such as the Filmmaker Film Festival which encourages youth to expand their imaginations and learn about the Entertainment Industry whether it be in front of or behind the camera. By introducing youth people to the film industry, the program hopes to provide them new mediums to express their creativity, improve their communication skills and benefit from the entire arts community.
